Choose an object or scene and shoot for five minutes using different angles and lighting and try not to interfere with it once it’s set up. I confess – I have problems sticking to five minutes but I did with this post.
These are photos of my home office where momaskedmeforarecipe.com, photographyinpearls.com and photographyinpearls.photoshelter.com come together. On my desk is an encyclopedia of birds and one for flowers (I really want to know what I’ve just captured!) as well as several photography books and different cookbooks. (The flower on the monitor is a plumeria.)
Trust me – it’s much neater than my “real world” desk!
