This weekend I had the amazing opportunity to view and photograph the sunrise on Boneyard Beach located on Bulls Island. The north end of the island is eroding and the live oaks and red cedars of the forest are now part of the surf serving as guardians of the beach.
The sky was full of color and absolutely wonderful to see…
although just as dramatic in black and white.

Beautiful shots of a magical place, Gina! I was glad to hear that Irma didn’t re-arrange this boneyard much.

It was so awesome – I’ve got another trip reserved for next month. And I’m not a morning person!
