My daughter and I participated in a photography day at SC Center for Birds of Prey this past weekend. The center provides medical care to injured birds of prey and shorebirds as well as promoting education and research in environmental elements that affect the birds.
Along with about 20 other photographers, we were able to see 15 different birds up close and personal. The staff were wonderful answering all questions and helping us get that perfect shot…rather lots of shots! I’ve just started going through them and I’ll post more but I couldn’t wait to get started!

Great shot! That is a fabulous experience! We have done it a couple of times and learned so much about these birds. Have fun working on your photos.
