Photo Challenge – Lens-Artists: Precious Memories

This week Amy has challenged us with the prompt “precious memories”.

My youngest grandchild lives four hours away and I try to visit at least once a month. We have so much fun together building towers with his legos, playing with his cars, trucks and trains and having marathon reading sessions.

We always take silly selfies too. We stick our tongues out, scrunch up our faces and tickle each other to get the silliest picture possible. It’s tough getting good pictures when you’re being silly and squirming and tickling and smooching so it requires lots of reshoots. Life can be tough.

Several times a week (at least) I take time to scroll through the photos on my phone and I always laugh when seeing these. They bring back the precious memories of that day and this special little boy.

This last photo includes my grandson’s favorite stuffed animal named Moosie. Including him in our selfies caused some issues getting all of us in the shot but was definitely worth it.
