Love on the Beach
This is one of my favorite photos from a recent shoot. It was a fun day and I’m so happy that I was invited to come along.
I’m on “staycation” this week and in between trips to the beach and visits with family, I plan to use part of my days off to try new things with my camera.
Today I practiced with different flash settings. No one was home at the time so I pulled out a stuffed bear that one of my girls gave me for Christmas about 20 years ago. His eyes are still there but impossible to see. Finally – a captive subject!
The universe is constantly whispering words of love: expressions of pure joy, respect, loyalty, and sacrifice for someone other than ourselves, and instructions on letting go and focusing on what is most important in this world. This week’s challenge is to show our expression of “one love”.
Celebrating 50 years
My parents married on March 30, 1957. These bears were given to them at their 50th anniversary party in 2007. My dad passed away December 25, 2014. Otherwise, they would still be going strong.
