Photo Challenge – Lens-Artists: Blue and Green

Our prompt this week is the colors blue and green – soft and calming colors to sooth the soul.

In 2017, we spent a week or so in the Virgin Islands – St Thomas and St John. Blues and greens were everywhere along with incredible breezes.

We rented a jeep and drove all along St John stopping at many of the bays for some sunbathing, snorkeling and of course eating. We had some fantastic meals.

It was definitely a wonderful calming weekend – no cares in the world.

Photo Challenge: Lens-Artists – Pick a Place

This week Tina has asked that we pick a place that is special to us. I’ve chosen to share photos of our trip to St Thomas/St John from February 2017.

We rented a jeep on St John and travelled around the island stopping at some of the bays for some beach time. The island is more mountainous than I thought and at some points it was a little heart stopping – especially when you’re having to remember to drive on the left side of the road! Isn’t the water beautiful?
