Photo Challenge – Security

This week we are asked to show something that represents security.

All four grandchildren have visited this month and what child doesn’t feel secure with their favorite stuffed animal?

Teddy Bear Love

I’m on “staycation” this week and in between trips to the beach and visits with family, I plan to use part of my days off to try new things with my camera.

Today I practiced with different flash settings.  No one was home at the time so I pulled out a stuffed bear that one of my girls gave me for Christmas about 20 years ago.  His eyes are still there but impossible to see.  Finally – a captive subject!

Photo Challenge – Opposites

This week we are asked to show how opposites can tell a story about people, places, or objects.

Happy and Sad

Our three-year-old twin grandchildren love to play with Winnie and his friends when they visit.  Now if we can just get Eeyore to cheer up!

Photo 101 – Day 19

Today we are asked to show our interpretation of the word “double” – twins, our vision during a dizzy spell, our doppelganger.

Ronnie Bear Twins

USS Ronald Reagan Beanie Babies

My father collected beanie babies among other things.  I’ve started taking photos of his treasures and am posting one weekly each Sunday under the tag “Daddy’s Collectibles”.  These guys fit today’s topic perfectly so I’m posting this one early.

Photo Challenge – State of Mind

Every photo we take says something about our emotions at the moment of taking it. So this week, share an image where you see a particularly strong connection between what we see and what you felt as you pressed that shutter button on your camera or phone.

State of Mind – Happy and Exhausted

Our twin grandchildren – almost three years old – are visiting this week.  I don’t know how mom and dad do it.  Even the stuffed cat looks tired!

And our fourth grandchild is due in March so add blessed to the list!
