Continuing the 4th of July series….
While huddled under the umbrella during the brief rainstorm, I noticed a seagull behind us. He was valiantly trying to get from point A to point B with no success at all. The wind took him up as he tried to fly down, down when he tried to fly up but always, always backward as he tried to fly forward.
Oh how he struggled and my heart went out to him. Luckily the storm didn’t last long and he was able to fly off. It was only when I was looking back through the pictures from that day that I noticed something strange and when I enlarged the pictures I saw that the seagull had a Cheeto is his bill and had managed to hold onto it the entire time he was struggling against the wind.
Now that’s determination!
